Biographies!

I found some really good ideas to use with our Biographies unit. This should be fun for the class. Right now they are in the process of reading their biography choices and then we will begin our project. I think I may change it up a bit for them and make it a bit more interesting and fun! I also found some activities to go with a book called Mary on Horseback by Rosemary Wells. It will go well with the Kentucky Appalachia theme that surrounds our district and it's students. I will have to go to the library and get this book to use as a read aloud but I will try to purchase some copies to have for future use.

Another idea I found was to make a "mystery person" poster. I think the kids would really like to do this one. I may have them to do this with their biography choice.

I love looking up ideas and trying to think of creative ways to make learning better and more exciting for the class. I will try to post examples of their work when we get them completed this week. If you have any ideas feel free to post!!!
